Kiambu, 1998: A young girl in a dress runs away from the camera, pursued by a dog. She jumps into the back of a truck, and the driver takes off. The girl wakes to find herself in gated community houses for sale on Kiambu Road with her parents, who speak only Swahili. To this girl, her dream had come true.
That was the year I was born, and I will never forget my mother’s face when she saw me for the first time. It was a look of such joy, such peace, such warmth—and such wonder. I have thought of that moment as the purest moment of happiness I have ever seen for most of my life.
But then something funny happened. As my father’s nucleus started to take shape, I realized that feeling happy was not enough. I wanted to feel unique, too. So I asked myself: “How do you feel unique in Kenya ?” The answer was: “Not very unique. Still pretty average.” what would happen if we purchased a house in a gated community house that was once on sale on Kiambu Road? This could feel unique indeed.
We all do this all the time. We feel happy for others when they are happy and sad when they are sad. But there is something more important than happiness and sadness, and that is: How do you feel? And how does that feeling change over time?

These questions matter because the way you feel is how you live. Your emotions affect everything you do, whether it’s your behavior as a child, a spouse, a co-worker, or an entire nation. That is why Gated Community Houses for Sale on Kiambu Road are so important. If you have a neighbor who constantly rings your doorbell and says unpleasant things to you, it will affect you more than if you were to experience the same thing through a glass window.

So, how do you “live” in a beautiful community inside and out? How do you befriend the person who lives next door when you can’t even touch them, not smile? How do you celebrate birthdays and other milestones in your life when you are forbidden to stop what you are doing, go outside, and play?

These are some of the challenges we face as humans. We need to feel belonging, and we need to feel unique. But belonging and uniqueness are not opposites. They work hand-in-hand. The way to feel more unique is to spend time with people who feel that way. As we become more unique, we’ll befriend more people like us and be able to share our emotions with them.
Injure someone else, and you will feel resentment. Get to know someone new, and you will probably feel attracted. But how do you manage both of these things? You can do this by giving people interested in these things a chance to get to know you.
I hope this book helps you see yourself and others in new ways. Most of all, I hope it brings you peace. Once you realize that we all feel the same way about mental peace as you do, you can stop thinking about feeling different and start living up to your full potential.
Finally, I want to say that this is not a book about learning to manage feelings. To learn more about managing feelings, please download the free bonus below.
How to Improve Your Life and Lifestyle
1. Focus on being positive.
Origins of the universe active, positive thinking leads to positive actions. You can decide how you will respond to any given situation. Regardless of what comes your way, be kind, constructive, respectful, and appreciative.
2. Live by no means.
One way to attract more peace is to live by the following rule: Do not do anything you do not want to do. That’s it, simple. If you don’t want to run, then don’t run. If you don’t want to spend money, don’t. If you don’t want to do things you don’t want to, stop doing them!
3. Sign up for More from the Master You
Have you considered signing up for more from the Master You? I get asked this question all the time. When I started writing the book, I didn’t know where to start. Here is one of my all-time best tips for becoming a master of any area of life.
4. Find something you love to do and devote yourself to it.
There is nothing wrong with loving to read, but there is something wrong with not finding something you love to do. You have the power to choose what you love to do. When you find something you love to do, devote yourself to it.
5. Create a routine.
I talk about this in the more advanced section of the one
ownitkenya but create a routine now. Don’t wait until you’ve reached the stage of your life where everything is different. Don’t wait until you’ve reached the stage of your business where everything is different.
6 Plan accordingly and take action.
If you plan to do something, then do it! Don’t sit back year after year and say, “This is the year I will start my business. This is the year I’m going to.” Make this the year you do it.
7. Stay focused on your goals.

Everyone wants to make money, but not everyone wants to work hard. If you’re in the latter situation, I advise changing your behavior. Work hard and make money because you love to do it, not because you hope to get rich quickly.
8. Be tenacious.
I talk about this in the more advanced section of redirection.com, and it’s the key to success. Most people don’t want to spend two years working on a business idea that might not work out. They want to get started right away. But if you’re like me, you want to make s

10. Be willing to start again.
Most people don’t want to hear about this, but if you want to make money in business, you must be willing to start over. Not everyone is in it for the long run, so be willing to give up on your idea if it doesn’t work.
